New favorite application.  It has all the addicting elements: ease of use, little time commitment, and awesomeness.  One element that is missing is the download component – the ability to record your Daft Punk sample as an mp3.  Perhaps in the potential 2.0 version that will addressed.

Exclusive content alert!  A few years ago, a friend from Minneapolis introduced me to an up-and-coming local band, Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles.  Lucy could be the female version of Andrew Bird, while remaining more folk than pop.  Yesterday, the band’s first album appeared in my mailbox.  Check it here.
